Our last Beginner’s Workshop was another great success, with over 20 people converging on The Hub and lots of advice and solutions being shared.

Help us make the next one even better by coming along on May 16th.

We intend to cover things like:

* installing various linux distributions;
* tweaking and configuring your system;
* automatic backups;
* home networking, including wireless;
* setting up specific platforms (e.g. mythtv, asterisk, ubuntustudio, etc);
* using specific applications - openoffice, inkscape, gimp, openmoviestudio

… but if you want help with a different application or problem, come along and let us know. The event is what you make of it. Bring your laptop!
