Howard Rheingold will be the keynote speaker for education.au’s final seminar for 2007. Howard is an internationally renowned critic and writer on cultural, social and political implications of modern communication media. He is the author of numerous books including The Virtual Community, Tools for Thought: the History and Future of Mind-expanding Technology and Smart Mobs.

Howard will discuss critical issues such as:

what is the future going to look like in ten years?
what is the future of the Internet beyond web 2.0 and its impact on life, education and the workplace?
what is the impact of online social networks and virtual communities on the future?
