linux.conf.au 2011

linux.conf.au will be held in Brisbane, Australia from Monday, 24th January to Saturday, 29th January.

linux.conf.au is about free and open source software, especially Linux. It is a technical conference which attracts some of the brightest minds in the world and it is run by the community, for the community.
If you are new to free and open source software, attending linux.conf.au is a great way to get a head start. You’ll be able to meet and talk with like-minded people and learn about the projects you can contribute to.
There will be sessions for the more technical amongst us as well as sessions for the non-technical but end users in the community.

This is the second time LCA has been held in Brisbane, with the first conference being hosted in Brisbane in 2002. 2011 will be a significant year for the open source community with many open source applications now considered mature and many more in development.

Of greater significance to the many Linux users out there, 2011 will also mark the 20th anniversary of the Linux kernel originally written by Linus Torvalds in 1991.

We are often asked what makes our Online Marketing events stand out from the crowd, this is what we think.

Exceptional Content

Tactical Take Away’s

Great Speakers

Connections & Networking

It’s all GUARANTEED

Great Deals

Lets look at each of these in a little detail:

Exceptional Content

We have sessions for online marketers wanting dedicated intermediate & advanced content. Sessions will cover all of the search topics: paid search advertising (PPC), natural search optimization (SEO), local search, social media, online marketing optimisation and much much more.

Tactical Take Away’s

All of our sessions are designed to teach you new tricks of the trade, our speakers are prepared before the event to have an audience that expects presentations that give them nuggets of information that can be taken back to the office and put in to practice . none of our sessions have multiple Panelists all talking about the same thing – You can come to this event with the expectation of learning something new and how to do it.

Great Speakers

We pride ourselves on bringing some of the best minds in Online Marketing to Australia who will share their tactics and experiences. This year in Melbourne we are bringing out four International Guest Speakers and we will be announcing those speakers in a week or two.

Connections & Networking

Before I started Australia’s biggest search marketing event I worked as a Search Engine Marketer. I have been to other search events, exhibited and spoken at them over the years so I understand what a delegate REALLY wants because I have been you, been in your position and experienced the good and bad events.

That is why we place so much emphasis on our delegates having a good time after all the heavy and educational sessions of the day.

Once a year occasions like these make great networking opportunities and a chance to finish an interesting conversation started in a meal break during the day!

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Yes, that’s correct – we Guarantee our event.

We are Australia’s only Conference Company to offer a Satisfaction Guarantee of ANY sort! We offer this guarantee as we know what you want from a search marketing conference and we plan our agendas accordingly. Conditions do apply, this will be our forth year offering this Guarantee no one has ever applied for a refund.

The Deal

Finally, a deal. Book before the end of this month and you will save 30% of the full conference rate, this is a saving of over $350 off your Two Day Search Marketing Expo & eMetrics Optimization Summit Pass.

Don’t forget, as soon as the agenda is posted the rates go up, so make sure you are a savvy Online Marketer and book now to make sure you get the best deal on offer.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to sending you some more updates shortly.
